Ethiopian Sidamo Washed

Ethiopian Sidamo Arroressa is sourced from over 650 farmers living in Dembi, a village within the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples’ Regional State, Ethiopia. The ripe cherries are sorted and pulped, then fermented for 36 to 48 hours before washing. Depending on the local weather, the beans are dried for 10 to 12 days on raised beds and turned every 2 to 3 hours until moisture is reduced to 11.5 percent. The beans are then transported to Addis Ababa for milling and bagging prior to export.
